In addition to a fun time, you can meet some great people and pets, and raise money for local animal shelters. November starts off with the Jewish Arts Festival, featuring a deli night and performances by the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company. For those looking for something a little out of the ordinary, the Utah Paranormal Expo is slated for October 7th and the Utah Paranormal Festival starts November 4th.
The Up! Women’s Conference will be held November 4th, and the Time Out For Women Event is scheduled for November 17th and 18th at the South Towne Expo Center; and will feature speakers such as Al Carraway and Michael McLean, and performances by David Archuleta and Mercy River. The 187th Semiannual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will take place September 30th and October 1st. You can get into the Christmas spirit with the Salt Lake Family Christmas Gift Show which runs from November 10-12.
Of course, as fall comes to Utah, it is a great time to take a drive through the mountains and enjoy the changing colors of the season!
